What the commission does and does not buy

• It buys the vendor a tracked link, nothing else. Verdicts are set by what a tool costs and returns, and more than one briefing here says do not buy the thing that would have paid us best.
• Affiliate links only exist for tools we have paid for ourselves or researched in depth. No test, no link.
• The criticism stays in print whatever the partner status: the fee that stacks, the plan that traps, the limit that bites.
• Outbound partner links run through a redirect (/out/) and carry rel="sponsored", so both readers and search engines can see which links pay.
• Quoted prices and plan limits are re-checked on a schedule and date-stamped.
